House preparation....

With our move to Alaska quickly approaching we've got to get our house ready to put on the market, so we had a contractor finish remodeling our kitchen and bathroom last week. That was quite a process and we're so relieved it's done!

Here's the "after" kitchen picture. New cabinets, new stove, and really nice tile work on the countertops and backsplash.

Welcome Spring

All this warm weather has summoned us outside a lot in the last few weeks. Beautiful days in the 70's and low 80's.... we're loving it!

Some friends of ours have a pony, and Clark got to take his first "pony ride"

What a whirlwind year it's been. We still can't believe he's already 1!

Birthday festivities included a small party with friends, gifts at home, then a party with our church family. Clark had a blast!

11 Months!

Wrapping up Clark's first year. *sigh* We can't believe it. Our sweet boy grows faster every day.

This month Clark got his first cold :-( and is finally cutting a top tooth. He's also getting very comfortable walking with assistance now, so it won't be long until he's walking on his own! Next stop: First Birthday!

He's also developed an interest in crawling in things..... like suitcases and guitar cases.

Merry Christmas Clark!

Clark had such a great first Christmas! We had so much fun just watching him have fun! He got lots great gifts and enjoyed each and every one of them... he literally would play for a toy then go on to the next one, then the next. It was very cute :-)

He was very blinky with the camera this day. As soon as I'd get the camera out, he'd close his eyes, strange for him, he's usually a ham. But here he is trying out his Mickey ride on plane from Grami.

10 Months!

So hard to believe we're approaching the 1-year mark so soon!

Our little guy is 10 months now, and is having a blast! Not walking yet, he's still content just crawling around & pulling up. Also, no more teeth yet, just the bottom 2.

But he still loves to eat just about anything!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Clark's first Thanksgiving! We hit the road and spent the long weekend in Kansas city with Judd & Anna. Clark's our little traveling man and did great the whole 7 hour ride! It was a fun visit! Clark had plenty of turkey, stuffing, potatoes and even pumpkin pie!

Black Friday we went to "Union Station" and saw all the cool Christmas train displays!

Clark really enjoyed it! Caleb wants to get him a train set already.

9 Months!

Our little Clark is 9 months now! Wow! He is quite the little mover now, crawling very fast and pulling up on everything! He's also able to "travel" now, moving along the couch holding on and taking steps. We really think he'll be walking very soon! Another milestone that's exciting, yet scary! :-)

These little photo sessions are getting increasingly more difficult with our goofy boy! LOL

Haircut #2! We weren't sure if we wanted to cut his curls cut off right away, but someone mistaken him for a girl got us motivated to get him another haircut. Here's the before picture...

If you lay Clark down for a nap then a few minutes later you hear him giggling, it's probably because he's pulling himself up in his crib. He finds this hilarious!
