Clark's first trip to Maryland!

Clark and I flew out to Maryland for a week-long visit and it was GREAT! We got to see the whole family, and overall Clark did well with the traveling. Awesome visit!

Can't wait to go again!

Congratulations Caleb!

Congratulations Caleb! A few months ago Caleb took a very difficult test to become a "Technical Sergeant" that very few people pass each year. All his studying and hard work paid off because he passed the test and is officially getting promoted to a new rank! We're so proud of him!

First haircut!

That's right! Clark had his first haircut today, at only 4 months old! I thought his hair was looking a little shaggy, so I took him in to get a good trim and it turned out great! He didn't even cry, was just a little wiggly. He's such a handsome boy!

4 Months!

Our big boy is 4 months now! Each month is getting more fun!

Milestones this month include:

- His first big laughs

- Starting to roll over (only in his bed though, when no one is watching)

- Starting solid food

- Able to grab toys in front of him

- Squealing and starting his own babble language

That's our happy Clark!

He's starting to love his buddy Tigger. It's sweet

He's already starting to "creep" along the floor during tummy time. He really wants to start crawling!

Clark has a favorite game with Daddy already too! He giggles uncontrollably when they do this! And for some reason he likes to have his hands in his mouth while giggling. It's funny. (please ignore the mess in the background, we were in the process of rearranging our guest room when we recorded this)

First solid food

We started Clark off on solid food. Rice cereal to start off with then we'll work onto other fruits & veggies. His solid food debut..... he wasn't too excited about it, as you can tell. I'm told that he'll get the hang of it eventually.

New Fun for Clark!

Things just keep getting more fun & exciting for Clark! We got him a "jumperoo" this week. While he's a little too short to actually jump in it (his feet are far from the ground), he's still really enjoying it. I put his high chair together to prepare for his big introduction to solids in 2 weeks! And Clark has an official first favorite toy, "Chuck"! It's really cute.

3 Months!

Clark is 3 months old now! He's quite a big boy these days, and had a few milestones this month:

- We discovered his favorite game, is sticking out his tongue then watching you do it

- He's a full time tummy sleeper now! So his neck is getting much stronger and he's already pulling up on his knees for crawling! Yikes.

- His weight is in the double digits now! At his Dr's appointment this month he weighed in at 10lbs 5 oz! With his struggle to gain weight when he was first born, it's such a relief to see him chunking up now!

Clark LOVES sleeping on his tummy! This particular day he slept until 10:15 am! Sleeping a total of 11 hours, waking only 1 time to eat!

I couldn't believe it, that's a record!
