For the last 2 weeks in May we went on a whirl-wind trip all up and down the west.
We stopped in Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri
First stop, Micah's in Kansas
As we headed into Colorado, this is the storm we driving into, yikes!
Hanging out with our nephews was so fun! Here's Caedmon showing his wrestling face!

It was so great to meet our first niece, Jayden! She was excited to meet her uncle Caleb!

Our next stop was the Grand Tetons in Wyoming! Here's Caleb looking for bears
Getting reading to hike up to those mountains! 
This is a marmet. A beaver/gopher like little guy that we were able to sneak up on to snap a picture.
We hiked up to this lake at the base of the mountains, and yes it is frozen in May! It was beautiful!
Lesson learned: Hiking on snow is a lot harder than it sounds! There was times on this trail that the snow was thigh-high! It was a challenge, but worth it!

Then it was on to Yellowstone!
Old faithful! It was really neat!
This is one of the natural hot springs in Yellowstone, it looked like a nice bubbling hot tub on a chilly day, but it's hot enough to boil you, so I had to resist jumping in! 
We even got to see a moose! This is a cow moose! Awesome!
Next, it was on to Minnesota to see Caleb's mom. Here Caleb is learning to drive a tractor!
This is Cindy's new dog Sadie! She's a cute little thing!
And we had a delicious fish fry! 
Finally it was on to Missouri to see Judd, Anna, and little Nichole. Here we are at the zoo!
Very sweet!It was truly an awesome trip! We got to see a lot of family, a lot of nature, and we had a blast! Can't wait for the next one!
