Dog days of summer

Oklahoma is enduring a record breaking heat wave this summer. We're going on 6 weeks of being at 100 degrees and above. Yesterday it hit 108 in the afternoon. So we're doing our best to beat the heat!

Clark really enjoys his little pool! He wasn't so sure about the cool water at first, but Daddy eased him in and now he has a blast!

He even laughs when Daddy sprays him with his pool toys!

5 Months!

Our big boy is 5 months now! Plenty of milestones this month!

- Doing great with solids (favorites include: peas, carrots, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes)

- First haircut

- First plane ride

- Getting very mobile now (he can "scootch"& rolls all the time)

Getting to know each other

This was ADORABLE! We put Clark and Katie together one night and they just kept looking at each other and laughing! It was so cute and I'm glad I had my camera nearby!

Clark's first trip to Maryland!

Clark and I flew out to Maryland for a week-long visit and it was GREAT! We got to see the whole family, and overall Clark did well with the traveling. Awesome visit!

Can't wait to go again!
